BUILDING COMMUNITY & HEALING HEARTS
Program Overview: Building Community & Healing Hearts is a community-focused initiative designed to provide free mental health clinical services to uninsured and under-insured youth ages 18 and under. By partnering with area police departments, this program aims to support identified at-risk juveniles, offering them the necessary resources and care to foster positive mental health outcomes and promote overall well-being.
Objectives:
- Provide accessible mental health services to uninsured and under-insured youth. 
- Partner with local police departments to identify and support at-risk juveniles. 
- Reduce mental health disparities among vulnerable youth populations. 
- Foster community collaboration to build a supportive network for youth. 
- Promote mental well-being and prevent the escalation of behavioral issues. 
Target Population:
- Uninsured and under-insured youth ages 18 and under. 
- At-risk juveniles identified through partnerships with area police departments. 
Services Offered:
- Individual Therapy: One-on-one counseling sessions tailored to the specific needs of each youth. 
- Group Therapy: Facilitated group sessions to provide peer support and shared experiences. 
- Family Counseling: Sessions involving family members to improve communication and family dynamics. 
- Crisis Intervention: Immediate support for youth experiencing acute mental health crises. 
- Case Management: Coordination of care and connection to additional resources and services.
